Terms and risks

Short and plain. Using the site means you accept these.
01

Software, not a custodian

Ville is open software running in your browser plus public contracts on Robinhood Chain. It never takes custody of funds or learns your keys, and it cannot reverse, freeze or recover a payment. It is provided as is, without warranty.

02

Payments are final

A transaction on Robinhood Chain cannot be undone. Check the recipient, the asset and the amount before you confirm in your wallet.

03

Your keys are yours to protect

Your stealth keys come from one signature. Anyone with that signature, or with your passphrase and signature, can find and move payments made to you. Sign the key message only on ville.cash. A forgotten passphrase cannot be recovered.

04

Privacy has limits

Stealth addresses hide the recipient, not the sender or the amount. How you move money afterwards can link payments back to you. The guide lists the main ways that happens.

05

Practice features

Practice names are kept by this site for 30 days and can be lost. The privacy pool page is a practice screen; nothing on it is a deposit. Practice features move no money.

06

Rules where you live

Ville does not claim approval from any regulator. You are responsible for using it lawfully where you are, including any tax or reporting duties. Do not use it for proceeds of crime or to evade sanctions.

07

Third parties

Wallets, RPC providers, the explorer and token issuers are separate services with their own terms. A token issuer may be able to freeze its token at any address.
